Block 2 Shot

Block Two in the media van has been shot during early December.  With Moya Brady and Simon Gregor playing Marge and Penrott.

A pleasure to watch and a pleasure to film..... only 6 blocks to go! Congratulations to Simon, as a Director as he completed the block under considerable pressure and challenges :)

We found Penrott!!!

We are delighted to announce Simon Gregor as Penrott.


Simon Gregor is an actor, known for Escape from Sobibor (1987), The Island on Bird Street (1997) and Welcome to the Punch (2013). He has also worked on numerous stage plays during his illustrious career.

Cast Announcement

An initial cast list has has been announced on The Schadenfreude website (www.schadenfreudethemovie.com). Below is a summary of who we have:



Steve Sweeney
Steve Sweeney is an actor, best known for "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (1998), "Slullduggery"" (1989), and "Nil by Mouth"

Ronald Pickup
Ronald Pickup is an actor, known for "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" (2010), "The Mission" (1986) and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" (2011). He was nominated for a 1998 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role of 1997 for his performance in "Amy's View".

Virginia Denham
Virginia's acting career covers nearly twenty years. During that time she has appeared on almost every major TV series on UK television. Just some of them include "Agatha Christie's Poirot", "Casualty", "The Bill", "Bugs", "London's Burning" and "Eastenders".

Rachael Pickup
Rachel is an actress known for her work in theatre in both London and New York. She has just finished shooting the feature film Chronic in LA with Tim Roth.


Moya Brady
Moya has a tremendous body of work. Her credits include working for Mike Leigh, Terry Gilliam and Woody Allen. After that, what else is there to say?.

Rupert Holiday Evans
Rupert Holliday-Evans is an actor, known for "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" (1988), "From Hell" (2001) and "Driving Lessons" (2006)..



Cream
Cream (Kai Taylor) is an actor and Multi-Award Winning Rap Artist, Famous for his Hit Single "Daddy Kool", and for his role as The Rapper in the Hit BBC3 reality show/comedy series, Boom Town (2013)..



Howard Marks
Howard Marks is a Welsh author who achieved notoriety as an international cannabis smuggler. At his peak he was supposedly smuggling consignments as large as 30 tons. He was convicted but released in April 1995 after serving seven years. Though he had up to 43 different aliases, he became known as Mr Nice, and a film was made about him starring Rhys Ifans.
